2025 Fire Muster

Millville, NJ, Wheaton Arts hosted their 44th annual fire muster, which highlighted over 80 antique fire trucks. The highlights for me included a 1923 Ahrens-fox fire engine, along with a Plymouth Fury tribute honoring the sacrifice of the 343 firefighters who rushed into the burning towers to save others. This tribute serves as a poignant symbol of courage and selflessness. Along with the reminder of sacrifice, there was also the reminder of the dedication to preserving the history that each of these engines tells. As a result, awards were presented to each department after much deliberation from judges. Afterwards, a parade of firetrucks departed, sirens, whistles, and lights blaring as they made their departure.
